Phone was stolen – Being Robbed In Medellin

So I wanted to give you guys an update about everything as some of you were wondering where some updates were on twitter and other social media channels. I was robbed at gun point the other night. I like to post about the positives in Colombia but these things do happen and i’d like to let others who read my blog know what happens in situations like this and the best way to handle it.

Most of you know iv grown up being in gangs been to prison, was in a prison gang and grew up fighting and doing street shit while at the same being a computer nerd and sex addict, and I Am not saying that as a point of pride or to be cool but its really cringe in all honesty but I am the first one ready to fight and I am down always win or lose, mostly lose at this age but still lets run it.

That being said, in the states it is about brute strength, big guns, big trucks big size etc.. is going to keep you safe at least in the part of California I am from and you can demand more respect with the bigger the better. Here in Colombia, its not about size its about sneaky ass pussy shit. Majority of Colombians are very small and I say this not to disrespect Colombian’s, they are great people and they also hate thieves and unlike us pussies in America, they beat the fuck out of thieves, I have a of respect for Colombians and being a visitor in their beautiful country.

That being said their are bad people in every country and thieves are a huge problem here, that being said. I was held at gun point by two little pussies for my phone on a fairly safe area. It was a young guy and a young girl on a motorcycle. I had grabbed the girl as the guy grabbed my arm and she reached for my phone as she showed me her rusted out homemade pistol. It was rusted at just the sign of it and I was more afraid of it exploding if she fired it and killing all 3 of us. I just ended up letting it go. These people are fucking stupid because you can still track the phone as everything is digital hardware now, not chip like the old days.

I had friends go look for the phone in hopes of buying it back and we pretty much found it but I ultimately told them to let it go as the stress just not worth it.

What I really want to let you guys know if you’re traveling and your phone is stolen is what a fucking nightmare it is, you cant do anything with a confirmation text message to your phone number. I was using att&t but I did get a colombian number and a iphone which helped but its so old I cant even update it.

First thing you need to do, because you cant login to your accounts is call the company directly, (if you are not traveling with two phones) and let them know the situation and get your number to forward to a new number. I paid 170 for a new iphone + 417 for shipping on dhl to get a new phone + a replacement sim card. HAd a friend send it to me. Praying I do not get locked out of my bank account from now and the time I get my new phone (10 days or so) because life will get a whole lot worse.
